Certified Medical Assistant

While primarily on-site, remote work opportunities are available.

How You Get Paid

Contractors earn $22-$30/hour on average, with monthly paychecks typically ranging from $3,000-$7,000. Earnings are divided into three buckets:

• Bucket 1 - Remote Patient Monitoring (70-95% of pay)
  • Conduct scheduled virtual check-ins with patients (weekly or monthly) to follow up on symptoms and medications.
  • Respond to software alerts when vital sign anomalies are detected (e.g., dangerously high blood pressure).
  • The more efficiently you work, the more you earn.
  • Can be done from home (8 AM-5 PM) or on-site.
• Bucket 2 - Patient Enrollment (On-Site) | $15 per enrolled patient
  • Be present at the doctor's office at least 3 days/week to enroll patients in the RPM program.
  • Introduce the program and walk patients through enrollment in 10 minutes.
  • Real-time access to the patient schedule ensures you know your daily workload.
  • Submit preferred on-site days (3-5 days) weeks in advance; the team schedules around your availability.
• Bucket 3 - On-Site Hourly Base | $7.25/hour
  • Clock in/out during on-site hours to cover commute time and gas.
  • During downtime between enrollments, continue remote monitoring from a dedicated contractor station, earning from all 3 buckets simultaneously.

Pay schedule: Once a month, on the second Friday of the month.

Responsibilities

• Onboard patients into the Virtual Care Management (VCM) program.
• Perform patient monitoring activities, including virtual check-ins and responding to vital sign alerts.
• Enroll patients in the RPM program during on-site visits at doctor's offices.

Requirements

• CMA, CCMA, or LPN Certification/License.
• Medical assisting and patient care skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in medical office procedures.
• Experience taking vital signs and weight measurements.
• Proficiency in managing medical records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with virtual care technologies is a plus.
