Job Description Summary ‎ Certified Medical Assistant – Full Time (Vera Whole Health) Location: 2570 Blackmon Drive, Suite 400, Decatur, GA 30033 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional Saturdays) Pay: ~$29/hr Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 paid holidays Certification: MA‑C required Experience: Minimum 2 years (primary/urgent care preferred) About The Role Vera Whole Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our primary care clinic. You’ll work closely with providers, assist with clinical procedures, manage patient flow, and help deliver excellent patient care. ‎ How Will You Make An Impact & Requirements ‎ Key Responsibilities Take vital signs, perform point‑of‑care testing, and assist with diagnostic proceduresAdminister immunizations, injections, and oral medicationsPerform phlebotomy, EKGs, and process lab specimensSupport patient education and care‑management needsSet up exam/procedure rooms using sterile techniqueAssist with front‑office tasks (phones, scheduling, registration)Maintain inventory and restock suppliesDocument accurately in the EMR and follow HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standardsParticipate in team huddles, training, and quality‑improvement activitiesProvide excellent customer service and teamwork Required Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C)Graduate of an accredited MA programMinimum 2 years of experience (primary/urgent care preferred)Phlebotomy certification within 90 days (if required)Strong phlebotomy, injection, and EKG skillsEMR documentation experienceCPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 daysReliable attendance, strong communication, and ability to multitask ‎ Compensation Range $23.00 to $34.50 The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
