Certified Medical Assistant

Requirements

• CCMA BLS from AHA
• 18+ months of CMA experience - Required
• Phlebotomy experience - Highly preferred
• EPIC/PennChart experience is a plus
• Strong patient-facing and clinical support skills

Key Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy
• Rooming patients
• Radiology prior authorizations
• Scanning and faxing documents
• Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
• Training: HIPAA Module - 15 minutes
• 4-hour PennChart training for MAs: Friday, 8 AM-1 PM before start
• Onsite training: Tuesday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM

Qualifications

Candidate must pass the training test; retakes are available.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
