About the role

We’re offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants at Primary Care Associates of Sewickley, located at 100 Hazel Lane Suite 200, Sewickley, PA 15143.

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Collect vital signs
• Review patient medication list and medical/social history
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
• Administer injections and medications as directed by provider
• Order supplies
• Update and maintain medical records
• Obtain referrals/authorizations
• Schedule appointments

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CCMA, NCCT NCMA, or NAHP NRCMA)
• CPR Certification
• Computer experience
• Successful completion of applicable clearances per HR policy HR-106 within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant diploma or degree program (preferred)
• Minimum of one year medical assisting experience (preferred)

Skills

• Proficient in venipuncture
