Certified Medical Assistant

About the Role

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as a Dermatology Medical Assistant. You will assist providers in procedures, learn about dermatology specialty, and perform a variety of tasks in a clinic setting across our 35+ locations in Oregon and Washington, with a primary location in Portland and weekly travel to Portland and possible travel to Vancouver (mileage reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Room patients
• Assist providers in procedures
• Provide patient education
• Perform daily patient tasks

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or Certified/Registered MA, or Certified Derm Tech
• Certification through the WA State Dept of Health strongly preferred (exceptions possible for Registered MA with experience)
• High school diploma or GED
• 1‑3 months related healthcare experience or trade‑school equivalent

Schedule

Typical schedule: Varied Tuesdays – Fridays, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
