Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living, Fairfax, Virginia.

Join our team as a Medical Assistant for our onsite Medical Center. The Medical Assistant will provide clinical support to medical and specialty providers, performing clinical duties as directed by clinical leadership or practice management.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments, including patient history and vital signs.
• Conduct EKGs, phlebotomy (blood draws), and administer injections.
• Manage stocking of treatment rooms and ensure their cleanliness.
• Partner with lab facilities to ensure compliance with EHMG policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of medical clinical experience.
• Current and active medical assistant certification in accordance with the certifying board, including CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with computer use.
• Ability to perform essential functions consistently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and injections.
• Compliance with specific state regulations and requirements, which take precedence over the job description.

Pay

$22.00 – $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
