Immediate hiring for a Medical Assistant in New Braunfels, TX. Must be located closer to New Braunfels, TX.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and directing calls to the appropriate staff.
- Perform patient check-in and check-out, ensuring all required forms are completed and demographic, insurance, and contact information is accurate and up to date.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to visits, including confirming eligibility and documenting verification details in the electronic health record.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with Front Desk / Surgery Scheduling / Insurance Verification is mandatory.
- Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
