Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) / Food Service Director

About the role

This position requires the CDM certification. This is different than the ServeSafe or other Food Service Manager and culinary training licenses/certifications. SIGN ON BONUS: $500 sign-on bonus to be paid after probationary period (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Influence the nourishment provided to patients
• Manage a team
• Do the menu planning
• Manage and order stock
• Adequately adhere to IDPH regulations
• Add hands-on support as needed
• Be pivotal to the recovery & dietary needs of residents

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Director (CDM) Certification
• Prior experience as a Food Services Director in a medical facility or a central kitchen is ideal
• Relevant ServSafe, food service & sanitation certifications/training
• Nutritional certification is ideal, but not required
• Culinary training highly desirable, but not required
