About the role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Certified Athletic Trainer at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no evening, weekend or holiday responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training services to military personnel
- Assess and treat injuries
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure proper care for athletes
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate sports/medical science field
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer at the collegiate level or higher
- NATA certified
- BLS certification
- Willingness to obtain one of the following licenses within 120 days of start: NSCA, CPT, NASM, PES, ACSM, HFSP
- Prefers FMS, GT or Soft Tissue Mobilizations and certified in Kinesio Taping
