About the role

As a full-time Athletic Trainer – Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you’ll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Georgetown, KY.

Schedule

The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11 PM or choose 4, 10-hour shifts and work 2:30 PM – 1 AM. No weekends.

Pay

Starting salary: $60,000. Sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards, and education on injury prevention
  • Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
  • Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
  • Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
  • Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Participate in meetings and task forces
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
  • Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
  • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
  • Experience in Ergonomics preferred
  • New graduates welcome
