Certified Athletic Trainer

About the role

As a Full Time Certified Athletic Trainer-Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Blue Springs, MS.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred.
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety; Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred.
• Experience in Ergonomics preferred.
