Certified Athletic Trainer
About the Role
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Head Certified Athletic Trainer at Camp Bullis in San Antonio, TX. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no evening, weekend, or holiday responsibilities. The role provides a chance to serve our military.
Requirements
- A Master's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited ATEP or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University within the field of Athletic Training
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries as an Athletic Trainer in high school, college, or professional sports settings
- 3 or more years overseeing a sports medicine or Athletic Training program of 3 or more Athletic Trainers and/or strength and conditioning coaches
- Published at least 1 peer-reviewed original research article as an author/investigator
- Certified by NATABOC or NATA
- BLS certification by AHA or American Red Cross
- Unrestricted Texas State License
