Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Inpatient and outpatient clinic care
- Teaching medical students, residents, and stroke fellows
- Developing research and creative work
- Providing University and public service
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
- Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ICU neurology
- Demonstrated strong communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- California medical license or licensure eligibility
- Board certified or eligible in Neurology by the ABPN
- California medical license or licensure eligibility
- Board certified or eligible in Neurology by the ABPN
- For the Clinical Neurology series, the ability to conduct bench, clinical or translational research and have a record of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Board certified or eligible in Vascular Neurology and/or Neurocritical Care
- Board certified
- Neurohospitalists with sufficient Vascular Neurology training
