About the role

The Mayo Clinic Department of Neurology in Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurologist in Vascular Neurology. The successful candidate will be engaged in an academically oriented clinical practice combined with clinical research opportunities and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Engaged in an academically oriented clinical practice combined with clinical research opportunities and medical education.
• Activities in the accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, the neurology outpatient practice, and the Mayo Clinic Telestroke Network.
• Academic appointment in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and membership in the Neurology department.
• Experience and demonstrated expertise in the management of diverse, complex neurologic conditions managed in a large tertiary referral center.
• Demonstrated track record of academic success in research and education.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a capacity to work collaboratively with other disciplines, specialties, and neurological sub-specialties.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Eligibility for Arizona Medical Licensure is required.
