CENTROL Precision Ag Operations Specialist

About the role

You will work closely with the CENTROL Operations Lead to coordinate parts, repairs, and logistics for CENTROL Precision Ag Operations. Duties include installation of precision ag equipment, troubleshooting, and assisting with in-field service calls. The role requires high attention to detail in a fast-paced, changing environment and knowledge of precision agricultural equipment, agricultural implements, and inventory management, including work-in-process inventory.

Responsibilities

• Promote and develop strong communications with all of KEY Cooperative’s divisions, location managers, salespersons, and customers to enhance company performance and teamwork.
• Work with customers to develop precision ag and data plans that help achieve higher yields through planter efficiency and data analysis.
• Ensure shop work areas are orderly and safe; use proper tools, procedures, and PPE to maintain safety for employees and yourself.
• Haul and deliver equipment to and from the shop using a semi and trailer.
• Communicate personnel needs for equipment installations with the location manager.
• Oversee and guide Key Cooperative staff with equipment installations.
• Assist with in-season service calls in the field.
• Assist in receiving inventory from freight companies and organize it.
• Fill orders placed by CENTROL Precision Ag Specialists.
• Maintain inventory, set up stock alerts, define minimum quantities, transfer parts between locations, and perform stock audits.
• Coordinate logistics to deliver customer orders to the point of use.
• Facilitate returns to vendors and manage the RMA process.
• Conduct timely and accurate monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Read and follow company employee policies.
• Support the Vision, Mission, and Values of Key Cooperative.
• Adhere to Key Cooperative pricing, policies, and credit terms.
• Accept all other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Centrol Precision Ag Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Class A CDL with tractor-trailer endorsement.
