About the role

The Central Services – Sales Specialist drives incremental revenue across Hyatt Studios and Hyatt Select hotels by managing Group and Transient sales opportunities. This role involves serving as an extension of each hotel's sales team, managing a dynamic pipeline, building client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage Group and Transient sales opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Qualify leads, build client relationships, prepare compelling proposals, negotiate, and contract business
  • Guide opportunities from inquiry through conversion using Hyatt sales platforms (Envision, Lanyon, and others)
  • Ensure timely, strategic follow-up to maximize conversion and deliver measurable revenue results
  • Support hotel-specific sales goals and grow market share and top-line revenue

Requirements

  • Previous Hyatt Select Service and/or upper-midscale experience
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Outgoing personality and proven self-starter
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hotel sales or comparable experience (preferred: Bachelor’s degree)

Qualifications

  • Proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Lanyon Opera, and Cvent

Skills

  • Expertise in Group and Transient sales funnel management
  • Strong business acumen and effective prioritization
  • Prioritizing and supporting mid-scale hotels
  • Applying Hyatt systems and sales strategies

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. The final pay rate/salary offered will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.
