Central Sales, Sales Specialist (Remote Opportunity)
About the role
The Central Services – Sales Specialist will support a sales funnel at Full-Service properties, receiving leads from various sources, interacting with clients, creating proposals, and responding in a way that benefits each hotel and their individual goals. This person may also manage a sales funnel and contract business.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Envision and other sales tools to promptly respond to leads to increase conversion and revenue.
- Employ professional selling skills: opening, probing, supporting, closing.
- Possess exceptional negotiating skills.
- Manage and train the process of sending referrals, setting traces, and profiling accounts.
- Show strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Demonstrated thorough understanding and competence in Group Sales, Hyatt systems, and the hotel/business travel industry.
- Experience in hotel sales or a comparable field.
- Outgoing and self-starter personality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in general computer knowledge, Envision, Opera, and CVENT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Previous Hyatt Group Sales Experience.

- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and presentation skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.
