About the Role
The Central Office Supervisor position provides professional and experienced support to Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) by supervising the Central Office administrative support team, supporting the DCT management team, and coordinating various operational support functions to ensure strategic objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Handle all personnel transactions for administrative support positions including hiring, discipline, directing work assignments, and reassignments.
- Develop, implement, and enforce operating policies and procedures for the day-to-day operations of DCT.
- Provide leadership and direction on projects.
- Develop strategies for effective management of business processes and communication methods and practices.
Requirements
- One year of lead work or supervisory experience in an office setting. Experience must demonstrate:
- Managing and/or coordinating the workflow of an office.
- Leading, directing, and/or guiding employees on job duties, assigning tasks and work teams, reviewing work, overseeing projects, and mentoring.
- Overseeing office supply inventory and/or budgets.
- Experience using desktop software and applications, equipment, and systems to direct and perform work including but not limited to: Microsoft Office (Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Qualifications
Demonstrated Leadership Experience may include any of the following:
- Experience as a supervisor, team lead, lead worker, or project lead.
- Completion of a State leadership development program, such as Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) or Senior Leadership Institute (SLI).
- Completion of a similar or equivalent leadership development program through another organization.
- A paid or unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee, such as an Employee Resource Group (ERG). This experience must also include:
- 1+ years of identifying issues, goals, and strategic actions.
- 100+ hours per year time commitment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and public relations skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with staff, colleagues, customers, local agencies, and vendors.
- Conflict management skills and ability to bring people/team(s) together through open communication, respectful dialogue, and discourse.
- Experience in bookkeeping and budgeting, with the ability to understand basic-level accounting.
- Experience in purchasing, tracking, and following up with vendors on payments.
- Dedication to ensuring cultural responsiveness, with a variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
Pay
$26.87 - $38.83 / hourly; $56,104 - $81,077 / annually
