Central Office Administrative Assistant for Human Resources (Employee Benefits)
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Business/Office Administration: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience and skill using Google drive/docs/sheets, etc. and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements of personnel and benefits records, files, forms and reports.
Budget knowledge, and accounting skills.
Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering detailed and specific data.
Understand and maintain confidentiality, professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, parents and the community.
Able to complete task accurately during periods of frequent interruptions.
Able to work in a fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Five years’ prior work experience in related field.
Able to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.
Emphasis on experience with insurance and employee benefits.
Performance Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and processing salary statements.
- Help maintain accurate records for the REP (Registry of Educational Personnel).
- Support the preparation of financial documents for payroll deductions for insurance.
- Communicate with employees about insurance options and organize open enrollment.
- Assist in the employee onboarding process for new hires.
- Prepare and submit ACA reports to insurance.
- Audit and review financial documentation related to grants.
- Provide general administrative support for various Central Office duties.
- Clock in and out for employees.
- Coordinate with Business Office personnel in verifying all employee wages and benefits.
- Assist with phone calls or visitor inquiries nor requiring administrative attention.

As assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full time, year round position. Part-time may be considered if requested by candidate.
