Central Kitchen Preparation Assistant

Education/Experience

• Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year experience at the level of a Nutrition Services Assistant II.

Selection & Examinations

• The selection process will consist of a competitive application screening for completeness, qualifications, and experience.
• If your application is accepted to move forward with the testing process, you will be notified via email of the date and location of the exams.
• A written examination (weighted 40%) and an oral panel interview (weighted 90%) will be conducted.
• A passing score must be achieved on each portion of the exams.
• Final selection will be made from those who achieve the three highest ranking scores.

• Restricted to probationary and permanent employees of the district and former employees on a valid reemployment list who meet the qualifications of the class.

Salary Information

Salary Range 118: Step A $23.11, Step B $24.28, Step C $25.51, Step D $26.80, Step E $28.15, Step F $29.58
