About the role

The Cement Pump Operator promotes excellent customer relations and satisfaction with the work performed at the well site while performing equipment rig up and rig down and preparing equipment for performing the job. This position is responsible for the safe operations of bulk equipment as well as operating and repairing cement pump equipment. Additionally, the Cement Pump Operator performs necessary calculations as well as data collection and distribution at the well site as needed. At the culmination of each job, the Cement Pump Operator performs the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment rig up and rig down at well sites
  • Operate and repair cement pump and bulk equipment safely
  • Perform necessary calculations and data collection at the well site
  • Clean, repair, and prepare equipment for the next job
  • Comply with DOT rules and regulations, company policies, HSE standards, and PSL guidelines
  • Drive Commercial A or B Vehicles
  • Perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Follow the Journey Management Process to reduce transportation-related risks

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License (Required)
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand and give verbal and written instructions
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals for job-related calculations
  • Knowledge of lifting, hoist, and slings

Schedule

Ability to work flexible schedule including out-of-town overnight stays.
