CDL (Concrete Pump) Driver/Operator

About the role

JP Tank is a specialized concrete construction contractor building large reinforced concrete tanks, digesters, and agricultural infrastructure. The Concrete Pump Operator & CDL Driver will operate a Schwing 46‑meter concrete pump truck and transport materials for projects throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest. This full‑time position is based in Rosendale, Wisconsin, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, approximately 40–50 hours per week, occasional early starts and overtime. Pay range is $32.00 – $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the Schwing 46‑meter concrete pump truck during critical concrete placements.
• Coordinate with foremen and crews to ensure efficient and safe concrete pouring operations.
• Perform thorough pump setup, cleanup, and routine maintenance, including lubrication and inspections.
• Safely transport construction equipment and materials to job sites using a semi‑truck and trailer.
• Maintain an organized and efficient shop yard, managing equipment storage and material staging.
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance to keep the fleet ready for upcoming projects.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid CDL Class A License with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Prior experience operating concrete pump trucks.
• Skill in safely operating a semi‑truck and trailer.
• Experience operating construction or heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Extensive experience operating concrete pump trucks.
• Knowledge of diesel engines.
• Understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Experience with heavy equipment repair.
• Background in the construction industry.
• Experience transporting a wide range of construction equipment.
