Responsibilities

  • Deliver materials to customers, including loading and unloading using a pallet jack and two-wheel dolly, and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
  • Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid CDL A or B.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
  • Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
  • Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
  • Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery is a plus.
  • Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
  • Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, plus overtime as needed.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.22 - $32.30 per hour. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
