CDL-B truck Driver Local
About the role
As a CLASS B Truck Driver at R+L Carriers' Danville Service Center, you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight, returning to the terminal daily. This involves multiple stops per working day, interaction with customers, and potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver freight in a commercial vehicle within cities and small towns.
- Use lift gates and pallet jacks for deliveries.
- Work directly with customers to ensure successful deliveries.
Requirements / Qualifications
- CDL Class B License.
- Good driving record/MVR.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
Preferred Experience
- Experience delivering freight in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns.
- Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack.
