CDL-B Truck Driver Local

About the role

As a City P&D Driver, you will be responsible for city delivery and pickup of freight and returning to the terminal daily. This includes multiple stops per working day, working with scan equipment, working directly with customers, and completing potential liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight in a variety of locations within the city.
• Use scan equipment to track deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate directly with customers to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Complete liftgate deliveries using an electric pallet jack and/or dolly.

Requirements / Qualifications

• CDL Class B License
• Good driving record / MVR
• Capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty

Preferred Experience

• Experience making deliveries in a commercial vehicle in cities and small towns
• Experience using a lift gate and pallet jack
