CDL B - Local - Truck Driver

About the role

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for their Rock Island, IL location. The ideal candidate must have a CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement or a CDL Class A driver’s license with 1 year of CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience. Moffett or knuckleboom operating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites
• Physically unload material per customer's request
• Receive materials in the warehouse
• Load trucks
• Process inventory

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Moffett or knuckleboom operating experience preferred
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day
• Lift materials over 100 lbs. as needed
• Comply with DOT regulations for securing and distributing weight limits
• Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas
