CBA Production Control Clerk - AIMD Program
About the role
This position performs administrative and clerical support for the Production Control Work Center, including issuing, processing, and screening Maintenance Action Forms (MAFs) and related records. The role maintains Support Equipment records and maintenance data reports in accordance with established procedures and contractual requirements, and involves data entry and reporting using NALCOMIS, SESS, OIMA, and related systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain working knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series, Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs), Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs), Technical Directives (TDs), and applicable Navy and company instructions
- Screen and induct VIDS/MAFs for completeness and correctness in accordance with governing Navy and company instructions
- Assign Job Control Numbers (JCNs)
- Verify receipt and transfer of log sets to customer activities using the OOMA application, as required
- Initiate and distribute VIDS/MAFs for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and equipment inspections
- Initiate work requests
- Provide daily workload and outstanding material reports to work centers and Production Control; assist in resolving discrepancies
- Maintain Support Equipment History records
- Assign logistics priorities for required parts, when qualified and authorized
- Generate NALCOMIS and SESS Availability reports for the Production Supervisor and Production Manager
- Schedule components and test equipment for maintenance, repair, or calibration as directed
- Input maintenance actions into NALCOMIS, including backfit data as needed
- Maintain, transcribe, and file required maintenance documentation and correspondence
- Provide technical assistance and guidance on maintenance documentation
- Maintain awareness of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) locations and applicable safety precautions
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inventories as required
- Uphold the highest ethical, personal, and professional standards
- Perform other related duties and support additional projects as assigned
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of the U.S. Armed Forces IMA Production Control Course (C-555-0043)
- Two years of experience in Intermediate Level Production Control, including one year of specialized NALCOMIS experience
- CNATTU Aeronautical Technical Publications Library Management course (C-555-0007) preferred but not required
- Valid state operator's license; ability to pass government licensing requirements for support equipment operation
- Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable Support Equipment (SE) licenses
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
- Certifications/licensing as required by the Program Training and Certification Manual and COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series
- Availability to work weekends, alternate shifts, and overtime as required
- Some travel may be required
Physical Requirements
- Requires climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and extensive walking, at times in tiring or uncomfortable positions
- May require lifting objects up to 50 pounds

Working Environment
Conditions may range from a standard climate-controlled setting to non-climate-controlled or outdoor environments subject to temperature extremes, wind, and rain. May involve exposure to high noise levels, airborne particles or fumes, and electrical shock hazards.
