AGL is seeking a Production Control Clerk to work in Fort Drum, NY. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of supply and maintenance management processes, related regulations, and the ability to ensure effective execution of the function.
Responsibilities
- Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets using prescribed recording procedures and word processing techniques.
- Calculate types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker/department production rates using computers, calculators, and spreadsheets.
- Write production reports based on compiled, tabulated, and computed data following prescribed formats.
- Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
- Compile detailed production sheets or work tickets for production workers as assembly or manufacturing guides.
- Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
- Compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
- Chart production using charts, graphs, or pegboards based on compiled statistics for reference by production and management personnel.
- Sort and distribute work tickets or materials.
- Compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data for payroll preparation.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
- Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
- Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
- Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating transfers to repair shops, and ensuring proper receipt after repairs.
Physical Demands & Working Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments.
- Must meet all physical requirements necessary for assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
- Involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of production control experience.
- GCSS-A experience and certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
- Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance and a Real ID.
- Basic proficiency in the English language (reading and writing).
- Ability to travel within the United States as required (up to 25% travel).

Pay
Pay range: $25.15 per hour. Health & Welfare: $5.09.
