Catholic PreSchool Teacher

About the role

This position is for a part-time PreSchool (PK3 or PK4) teacher at Regina Caeli Academy in Brookfield, CT. The role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as we will train you. Previous experience in homeschooling, ministry, teaching Religious Education, or teaching in a classical or private school is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

- Teach in a classical and Catholic classroom. - Provide instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. - Prepare for classes at home and come to class prepared to teach in a highly structured environment. - Attend mandatory training days on August 10, 11, and 12, 2026 (8 am-5 pm, no childcare provided). - Complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

- Strong communication skills. - Good organization. - Timeliness. - A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. - Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to your state in life.

Qualifications

- No additional vacation days are given (accommodations made for sick days as needed).

Skills

- None specifically listed, but strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Pay

- Hourly pay is provided.

Schedule

- Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm.
