About the role
The role involves teaching Kindergarten students in a classical and Catholic environment for up to 14 hours per week during the 2026-27 academic year at Regina Caeli Academy in Camas, Washington.Responsibilities
- Teach Kindergarten students in a classical and Catholic setting.
- Provide instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Have a deep love for children and the Catholic faith.
- Follow curriculum and grading guidelines provided by the academy.
- Attend staff training on August 11, 12, and 13, 2026.
Requirements
- No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required.
- Experience in homeschooling, ministry, teaching Religious Education/Catechism, or teaching children in a classical or private school is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication skills and good organization are necessary.
- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including receiving all sacraments appropriate to one's state in life.
- Must be available to attend staff training on August 11, 12, and 13, 2026.
