Responsibilities
- Affords assistance to the physician during invasive cardiac procedures.
- Displays comprehensive understanding of all Cath Lab equipment and performs routine maintenance.
- Administers both direct and indirect patient care to individuals undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a RCIS program
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Graduate of a program in respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology
- No prior experience required
- Required to obtain RCIS within 24 months of hire if a graduate of an RCIS program
- Based on healthcare experience, applicable licenses may be required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support must be obtained upon hire
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained upon hire
