Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures.
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab Equipment and maintenance of it.
• Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients.
• Serves as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.
• Must be able to perform a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or Vascular.

Requirements

• Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• 4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience.

Qualifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure. Current Georgia RN license. Required upon hire.
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS or RCES). Required upon hire.
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist. Required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support. Required upon hire.
• ACLS. Required upon hire.
