Cath Lab CVT

About the role

The Cath Lab CVT monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and acts as a scrub assistant under the supervision of the director or charge person.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a sterile field during procedures
• Monitors patient vitals and reports any changes to the supervising personnel
• Assists with equipment setup and maintenance
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or at least 5 years of relevant experience
• RCIS or RCES Certification (must be obtained within 12 months if not already held)
• Preferred licensure includes FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist with ARRT Certification
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
