Cath Lab CVT

About the role

The Cath Lab CVT monitors procedures, including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant under the direction of the director/charge person.

Responsibilities

• Makes sure that all procedures are conducted safely and according to protocol
• Monitors patient vitals and reports any changes to the medical team
• Works as a scrub assistant during procedures, ensuring proper sterile technique
• Communicates effectively with the medical staff and patients

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR Radiologic Technology OR Respiratory Therapy OR a minimum of five (5) years experience in an applicable field
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification (preferred) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
