Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
- Provide procedural assistance to the physician before, during, and after procedures.
- Assess and manage access sites, and communicate findings to the physician.
- Adhere to on-call protocol for the Cath Lab.
- Prepare patients for procedures.
Required Skills And Certifications
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
- RCIS certification preferred.
- BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
- Cardiac Cath lab experience required.
- RCIS or RT with Cardiac Cath Lab scrub experience preferred.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday: Day shifts from 7am - 5pm (4) 9.5-hour shifts.
- STEMI On-call: 13-15 shifts per month, including 2 weekends (Friday 5pm - Monday 7am).
