About the role
This position is responsible for assisting cardiologists performing invasive cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology studies using ionizing radiation. It also involves performing sterile scrub duties for interventional cases, coordinating non-stock supply orders, and coordinating parent teaching services.

Requirements
- Extensive technical training through completion of an AMA approved two-year program in Radiologic Technology and six months related training in special procedures
- Cath lab experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Maintains X-ray license through CE credits
- Maintains knowledge of current trends and techniques in cardiology through appropriate technical journals or in-service and educational programs
- Operates a computer and is capable of learning required software programs in accordance with departmental needs
- Ability to lift and position patients of up to 50 pounds for 20% of work time and to stand or walk for up to 50% of work time, wearing 10-15 pound lead apron
- Maintain ARRT certification
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required
Qualifications

Pay
$XX.XX per hour
Schedule
72 hours in a pay period (two weeks), 4 days one week, 5 days the next week, 8 hour day shifts, no holidays or weekends - with the exception of on-call responsibility.
On-call: one weekend per month
