Cath Lab CVT

About the role

The Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) monitors diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and working as a scrub assistant under the supervision of the director or charge person.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) (required within 12 months of hire).
• Licensure such as FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or Respiratory Therapist license with ARRT certification (preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
