Catering Services Manager - Seattle Convention Center

Leadership position overseeing all catering solutions and special events at the Seattle Convention Center. Responsible for delivering high-quality events that meet customer expectations and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Build and maintain effective client and customer relationships
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and executing events
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events based on banquet event orders
• Assist clients in planning special events and provide creative solutions
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure adherence to catering and event standards
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to the team and ensure all requests are met prior to the event
• Deliver food and labor targets
• Execute catering events of varied size and scope, including staffing and management
• Ensure accurate reporting of all catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members
• Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
• Adapt to changing job duties as needed to meet commitments

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
• Previous experience in events, hospitality, and catering preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office Suite or related programs
• Available to work event-based hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Complete Washington State Food Handlers, ServSafe Manager, and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Pay

$81,000 to $85,000 per year. This is Aramark’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
