Catering Events Sales Manager

About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a dynamic Catering Sales & Events Manager to join our team. In this role, you will drive catering and event sales within the corporate and social markets through proactive prospecting, relationship-building, and strategic sales efforts. The successful candidate will secure and execute exceptional events while upholding Four Seasons’ renowned service standards and maximizing revenue and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate and secure catering and event business through prospecting, client inquiries, and relationship-building to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Conduct site tours, planning meetings, tastings, and client presentations for corporate events, social gatherings, and weddings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Catering, and Operations teams to optimize event space utilization and ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage all aspects of confirmed events, including contracts, event details, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), client communication, billing accuracy, and revenue-enhancing upsell opportunities.
• Oversee on-site event execution to ensure exceptional guest experiences, client satisfaction, and adherence to Four Seasons service standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years previous catering sales experience, primarily in the corporate market
• Luxury hotel or fine dining offsite catering experience preferred
• Exceptional selling, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment
• High level of attention to detail
