About the role

Rogers Towne Cinema Grill is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cast Members, Box Office Cashiers, Concession Attendants, and Ushers/Doormen. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can make a difference in the lives of our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for patrons.
• Sell tickets to movies and special events, provide information, and enforce theatre admission policies.
• Ensure the security of cash and tickets.
• Maintain and clean the Box Office area.
• Answer the telephone courteously and professionally.
• Keep the box office area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Watch for safety issues and report to management.
• Follow MPA film rating guidelines when selling admission tickets.
• Follow theatre policies for selling admission tickets.
• Provide services to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain adequate food/supplies and clean concession areas.
• Prepare popcorn using a popper and attend concession equipment.
• Clean concession areas before and after business hours.
• Maintain the appearance of all equipment and serving counters.
• Assure menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities to satisfy volumes.
• Receive deliveries when assigned.
• Manage crowd control and assist patrons in finding seating when necessary.
• Clean and inspect auditoriums.
• Absorb patrons' special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Assist patrons with questions or complaints.
• Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic theatre operations and policies.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Skills

• Customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills (Point of Sale terminals).
• Knowledge of MPA film rating guidelines.
