About the role

Malco Theatres is seeking motivated individuals to join our team at Monticello Cinema. We offer various positions including Box Office Cashier, Concession Attendant, and Ushers/Doormen.

Responsibilities

• Box Office Cashier: Creates a welcoming environment for patrons, sells tickets to movies and special events, provides movie and event information, enforces theatre admission policies, secures cash and tickets, and maintains and cleans the Box Office area.
• Concession Attendant: Serves prepackaged food and drink, maintains the concession area in a sanitary condition, prepares popcorn, cleans concession area, and ensures menu items are prepared in sufficient quantities.
• Ushers/Doormen: Collects admission tickets, directs patrons to correct auditoriums, maintains clean facilities, greets patrons, assists patrons with questions, manages crowd control, and inspects auditoriums.

Requirements

• Box Office Cashier: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service preferred.
• Concession Attendant: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food service preferred.
• Ushers/Doormen: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.

Qualifications

• Box Office Cashier: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Concession Attendant: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Ushers/Doormen: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to stand for long periods.

Skills

• Box Office Cashier: Customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to operate POS terminals and ticket printers.
• Concession Attendant: Food service skills, cleanliness and sanitation knowledge, ability to operate popcorn popper.
• Ushers/Doormen: Communication skills, crowd management, ability to assist patrons with special needs.

Pay

• Box Office Cashier: $12-$14 per hour.
• Concession Attendant: $12-$14 per hour.
