About the role
Malco Theatres is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team at the Springdale Cinema Grill. We offer a variety of roles including Box Office Cashier, Concession Attendant, and Ushers/Doormen.
Responsibilities
Box Office Cashier: Create a welcoming environment for patrons, sell tickets to movies and special events, provide movie and event information, enforce theatre admission policies, secure cash and tickets, maintain and clean Box Office area.
Concession Attendant: Serve prepackaged food and drink, maintain concession area in a sanitary condition, provide friendly and efficient service, keep concession area clean and stocked, clean concession area before and after business hours, maintain appearance of equipment and serving counters, receive deliveries when assigned.
Ushers/Doormen: Collect admission tickets, direct patrons to correct auditoriums, help maintain clean facilities, greet patrons, assist patrons with questions, manage crowd control, assist patrons with seating, inspect auditoriums, assist with patrons' special needs, maintain order, ensure safety rules are adhered to, inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
Requirements
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred.
