About the role
Malco Theatres is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team at Tupelo Commons Cinema Grill. We offer a variety of positions including Cast Members, Box Office Cashiers, Concession Attendants, and Ushers/Doormen.
Responsibilities
Create a welcoming environment for patrons by greeting them cheerfully and providing accurate movie and event information.
Sell tickets, accept payments, and make change using Point of Sale terminals and ticket printers.
Operate and communicate effectively on a two-way radio, follow MPA film rating guidelines, and enforce theatre admission policies.
Answer the telephone courteously and professionally, keep the Box Office area clean and stocked, and watch for safety issues.
Provide friendly and efficient service, maintain a clean and sanitized concession area, and serve food in proper portions.
Direct patrons to correct auditoriums, manage crowd control, assist with seating, and help maintain cleanliness in lobbies, hallways, auditoriums, and restrooms.
Assist patrons with special needs, inspect backpacks and packages, and ensure adherence to safety rules.
Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and have reliable transportation.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in customer service preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic theatre operations and policies.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Point of Sale systems and ticket printers.
