Cash Accounting Representative (PRN)

About the role

Reports to Gift Shop Manager. Schedules staff and volunteers and monitors department activity. Responsible for handling large amounts of cash. Performs varied clerical and organizational duties requiring an understanding of department function and its procedures. Carries out recurring office procedures and appropriately selects action based on established guidelines. Prepares all information for financial reporting. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required
• Experience: 2-3 years retail experience required
• Must be proficient in Excel
• Requires good interpersonal skills, as well as good written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to post financial information accurately
• Must be able to complete reports in a timely manner and meet fiscal deadlines
• Ability to work cooperatively with others as part of a team
• Must have good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize duties
• MUST be able to lift at least 40 lbs

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience operating cash register desirable, preferably in a retail establishment
