Case Management Supervisor

About the role

The Case Management Supervisor oversees and strengthens Envida’s home care operations while supporting compliance with state and federal regulations, including Colorado PASA, HCPF, and CDPHE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and daily oversight of home care attendants, administrative support staff
  • Assign and manage home care staff to ensure appropriate staffing and continuity of care
  • Mentor, coach, and develop supervisory staff and future leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as support for audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews
  • Audit submit documentation to maintain compliance
  • Collaborate with the Licensed Professional (RN) to maintain and enhance the Quality Management Plan (QMP)
  • Oversee Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, including Sandata system usage
  • Conduct regular audits of EVV data to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Verify accuracy of client profiles, attendant profiles, service authorizations, care plans, schedules, and billing units
  • Ensure documentation standards are met prior to payroll and billing submission as well as care management
  • Support payroll accuracy
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to timekeeping, EVV, and billing
  • Support cost containment and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Oversee orientation and support delivery of training for home care staff
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
  • Develop and deliver training related to compliance, quality care, and operational procedures
  • Provide ongoing coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations
  • Address and resolve client and caregiver concerns promptly and professionally
  • Implement corrective actions and service recovery plans when needed
  • Support client retention through proactive engagement and quality oversight
  • Collaborate with the Home Care Manager on marketing, outreach, and growth strategies
  • Identify service gaps and opportunities for expansion to new populations
  • Support business development efforts, including contract support and data analysis
  • Track and report on operational metrics related to growth, quality, and performance
  • Maintain accurate reports for weekly home care meetings
  • Provide timely updates to Finance, Compliance, and Leadership teams
  • Ensure all licenses, certifications, and required documentation remain current
  • Perform on-call rotation to address urgent issues (phone support only)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Education

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Human Services, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted on a year for year basis

Experience

  • 2 years of administrative or operational home care or Home & Community Based Service experience
  • 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience supporting audits, surveys, or compliance reviews preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Home Care and HCBS Operations
  • Strong understanding of PASA, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance
  • High proficiency with EVV systems, including Sandata
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled at Collaboration across departments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
