Case Management Supervisor
COMPETENCIES
The potential employee will have the ability to assess and interpret information related to population; Have knowledge of the symptoms of the disability/disorder and ability to recognize exacerbation of symptoms; A general understanding of treatment needs; Knowledge of available treatment resources and appropriate use; Have population-specific communication skills; Crisis Intervention skills; Management/ Supervision of team of case managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- To work collaboratively with the Clinical Team
- To provide 24 hours/7 days a week on call crises intervention on a rotating basis, including evenings and weekends
- Responsible for maintaining a consumer clinical record (electronically) that accurately reflects all services provided on a timely basis and meets Agency and funding source standards
- To monitor and oversee service linkage in the mental health and non-mental health, health system; coordinating and integrating services from multiple providers
- To monitor and oversee the provision of community-based services to consumers with seriously and persistently mental illness in the community
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in field with clinical training; OR Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BSW) in a mental health related field required;
- One (1) years of post-bachelor’s degree experience providing direct services to the adults with a serious mental illness;
- One (1) year of relevant supervisory experience preferred.

SKILLS
