About the Role

The Carside Server delivers food and beverages to guests, ensuring a courteous and timely experience while adhering to Applebee’s service standards. This role supports a positive work environment aligned with TSFR’s Core Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and provide recommendations when requested.
• Take orders in person or via phone and input them accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in their vehicles or the dining room.
• Pre-bus tables, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Process payments promptly using QR codes or POS.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.
• Verify accuracy and proper packaging of all carside orders.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong teamwork orientation and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to take initiative and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Effective verbal communication with guests in person or over the phone.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedules.
• Mobility for a minimum of 4 hours, including bending, stooping, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Legal age to serve alcohol.

• Ability to read and interpret documents (e.g., contracts, manuals).
• Basic writing skills for routine reports and correspondence.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, walking, and use of hands to handle objects.

• Flexibility to accept change and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Work Environment

Work is primarily conducted in a restaurant setting. Occasional travel to other locations may be required, either alone or with a co-worker.
