About the Role

The Carside Server delivers food and beverages to guests, ensuring a courteous and timely experience while adhering to Applebee’s service standards. This role supports a positive work environment aligned with TSFR’s core values and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.
• Familiarize guests with the menu and provide recommendations when requested.
• Take orders in person or via phone and input them accurately into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in their vehicles or the dining room.
• Pre-bus tables, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, comfortable workspace.
• Collect payments promptly using QR codes or POS.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance their experience.
• Verify accuracy and proper packaging of all carside to-go orders.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong teamwork attitude and willingness to take initiative.
• Effective verbal communication with guests in person or over the phone.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Legal age to serve alcohol.

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow operational documents (e.g., contracts, manuals).
• Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, walking, and use of hands to handle objects.
• Occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 30 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with flexibility to adapt to change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a restaurant setting. Occasional travel to other locations may be required, either alone or with a coworker.
