Metadata: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm. $21/hr plus a $500 sign-on bonus.

About the role

The Carrier Compliance Coordinator ensures carriers meet safety and insurance requirements while supporting daily operations. This role resolves carrier and driver issues, collaborates across teams to reduce risk, and serves as a key point of contact for both carriers and internal stakeholders. The position also focuses on delivering timely support and maintaining accurate carrier records.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify, onboard, and integrate carriers into the transportation management system in accordance with established procedures.
  • Provide phone coverage, triage incoming calls, and route inquiries to appropriate team members.
  • Verify and maintain carrier compliance with insurance and safety requirements using DOT and FMCSA data.
  • Respond to inbound driver calls regarding EPOD-related issues, delivering timely and effective resolutions.
  • Communicate professionally with carriers across multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat.
  • Maintain accurate carrier records and ensure data integrity within internal systems.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
  • Some experience with order entry or a similar administrative role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry, is preferred.
  • Some experience with customer service is preferred.

Work Environment

  • General office conditions with moderate noise levels.

Physical Abilities

  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.
  • Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand, bend at the knee and waist, and walk.
  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger movement to type and work on a computer.
  • Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work on a computer, telephone, and related office equipment.
  • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
