About the role
Provide compassionate care to residents in a residential setting. Assist with daily living activities, medication management, and social interaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Coordinate with family members to ensure residents are receiving the support they need.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
